Bobby Rice died today. He was one of the best musicians in the state of Arkansas. He played with the band that played at the Wild Game Chili Cook off just this past Saturday. He even played my favorite song without me saying what it was. All I had to do was say "play my favorite song. He even played at my reception when my husband and I got married. He was our Friday and Saturday nite band at the bar that my husband and I had owned.
We did not know that he was playing this past Saturday. I was busy looking for the photo that I needed a picture of when Muffin said why don't you go take a picture of Bobby. So of course I went over and Muffin took this picture of me and Bobby. We also noticed that he was not looking good.

Bobby did not drink anything but tequila. And that man could drink more shots of tequila than anyone I ever knew. I know one night he drank at least 15 shots. But I heard that he drank more than that. He drank Jose Cuervo Gold cold. And he got me to drinking it that way. Cold Jose Cuervo goes down real smooth. At the start of the night we always what he called a shot for a good night.
By the way my favorite song that he played was Ghost Rider.
When he played the first song that Muffin and I danced to as man and wife was Bobby Rice playing Momma He's Crazy.
He is going to be missed by a lot of people. Me included.
