The Kentucky Derby is a big day in the arena of horse racing and you don't even have to be there to participate. They show the race on televisions sets throughout the bar and then they also give prizes for the best hats. They also have drink specials. The drink that actuality belongs to the derby is the mint julep. So if you can't go to the Derby itself find a place that celebrates it anyway. You will have a blast.
