Helmet laws are making the news in Arkansas again. There are a lot of people for and a lot of people against this law. I don't wear a helmet and I believe it should be a matter of personal choice. My thing is if you are on the highway and you have a wreck it won't matter if you are wearing your helmet or not. But I can see after reading some of the remarks that I might need to do some more research on this. It may be next riding season I wear a helmet. I just believe that this is a personal matter just as I feel wearing your seat belt is a personal matter. And yes I do wear my seat belt. It makes me feel safer.I was in a wreck where I believe the seat belt kept me from getting hurt more than I did. I wonder how many states have the law and how many don't.
