I was reading the Lifestyle of America's West and I am surprised that there are still places where people ride horses looking for stray cows. I just assumed that todays ranchers rode 4-wheelers. The article also said that not much television is watched in some places in the west even today. Like the article said I can picture myself riding a horse just ambling along and then relax by the fire with a cup of coffee. It would be great when the weather is good and it is not too cold. But I just cannot see getting on a horse in the winter.
