I found the videos on Sonny Barger and because I liked them I added them to my website. Then I was asked who Sonny was and even had two people tell me they have met him and one who said she remembered him when she was a little gilr. So I do some more research on Sonny. He was a member of the motorcycle gang Hells Angels.  He was there at a concert that happened just four months after Woodstock. The concert was held in Altamont, California and is remembered becuase of all of the violence that took place. It is said that when the rioting was happening Sonny held a pistol to Keith Richards head and told him to keep playing. For those who don't know Keith Richards was part of the group The Rolling Stones. In my reading one of the things that I found really interesting was it is rumoured that Don McLean wrote "American Pie" as a result of this incident. The words
Oh and as I watched him on the stage
my hands wre clenched in fists of rage
No angel born in hell
could break that satan's spell
and as the flames climbed hight into the night
to light the sacrificial rite
I saw satan laughing with delight
the day the music died.

Now it has to be said that McLean has not confirmed this.
